My “I am a Slut” poster appeared on the #MigrationIsBeautiful documentary and people have been asking me about why I made it. Everywhere you turn, the right wing is attempting to further limit and hinder women’s access to reproductive rights through anti-contraceptive measures. Fuck that! I am fed up! Patriarchy is destructive to society, it’s a form of violence against women, and there is no place for it in contemporary culture. We have to call it out when it happens.
